Update on Union Dues Adjustment
Dear Members, We want to keep you informed about an upcoming adjustment to union dues. Beginning May 10, 2026, union dues will increase by $7.00 per pay period, bringing the total to $58.24 per pay period. We understand that any increase can be difficult, and this decision was not made lightly. This adjustment is necessary to keep pace with rising operational costs, including increases in insurance, PORAC membership, the Legal Defense Fund (LDF), and the Mastagni legal retainer, as well as general inflation. These resources are critical to ensuring we continue to provide strong representation, legal protection, and advocacy on behalf of all members. It is important to note that dues have remained unchanged for an extended period, and this adjustment helps ensure the long-term stability and effectiveness of our association. We remain committed to using your dues responsibly and continuing to fight for your interests, rights, and benefits.
